When I first met Angel, I was struck by her strength and confidence, her boldness. She intrigued me. On several occasions, I have seen her delicately maneuver through some uncomfortable and downright disrespectful situations with incredible calm and poise. Always speaking with wisdom and never offensive. She got my attention. I needed to find out what made her tick, how it was that she could be so solid and sure in times of distress, uncertainty, and personal challenges. There came a time that I had an emotional breakdown and how she tended to me, I'll never forget. She gave me wise and sure counsel, direct and unapologetic, with so much love and compassion. She always made it a point to speak to me. She took the time to learn who I was and what my deepest concerns and/or needs were, so she could create a custom fit program to help me accept and make peace with my past and walk through my brokenness while propelling me forward. She really listened and gave effective strategies all the while tending to my heart. As situations arose in life as they often do, she heard me, made adjustments and retailored our sessions to meet me where I was, but kept our focus on meeting my original goals. I could not recommend a greater life coach. Because of her, my life is much different and full of promise.

Mental and Faith

While fighting depression and not knowing whom to turn to, I truly believe God sent “Angel!” Angel has been helping me overcome many struggles over the months, from depression, parenting, my position as a wife, and many more battles I have endured; Angel is helping me conquer them one by one. I never really understood my actual value, and Angel has worked with me to understand the value I uphold to my family and myself. I can honestly say I was lost. I felt as much as I prayed then things should be changing. I even started to question my faith. But Angel took the time to explain in great detail that along with prayer comes actions. When I began implementing actions into my prayers, I started to see a difference. When I say Angel is truly what she is, I could only imagine where I would be if she weren’t sent into my life. I would highly recommend Angel not only because she is fantastic at what she does, but she lets God speak through her, and it’s just proof that when God said he would never leave us nor forsake us, he truly meant that.

Wives Chat has helped me come out of my shell from being a private person to trusting the women in this circle. I know I'm not being judged, but well loved and encouraged to follow God's plan. I've learned I'm not alone when it comes to my personal and relationship struggles. Therefore, I'm so blessed to have a sister-bond with Angel and the group, so I can stay encouraged during challenges I may face in life, and its exciting to celebrate God's blessings together with WC!

We came to Angel when our marriage was at an all time low. I was pretty sure the next step would be divorce. But no, Angel has been a great blessing to us. She literally pulled us back from the brink. To say she cares as much about our marriage and the outcome as we do is no overstatement. Often strong women don’t have a safe place to turn to, a refuge, where they can be vulnerable and yet still be seen; still be whole in the eyes of others. I am in a safe yet challenging place with her because I don't just want to mean well, I want it to be said that I do well through and through. I found myself in a precarious place in my life, where I counsel others, and yet found myself in need of counseling. I could not reconcile my passionate love for God and failing to live like Christ in a couple areas of my life. The hurt, the brokenness, the deep heartbreak had warped my identity. She has come into my life to help me straighten and redirect it for God’s purposes. Sometimes we are on the right track, but we don’t see what He sees, i.e., why we go through what we do, and this can take us off course. My time with her in this healing and fortification process is precious to me and I call them, Angel sessions.

From the first night I arrived to wives chat, Angel greeted me and made me feel at home. Made me feel like she knew me my entire life. Angel devoted her time to getting to know me and she has become a sister to me, a sister I am blessed to have. She has helped me with skills and tools to handle everything thrown my way in my marriage, my career and my overall life. She has made me an ever bigger believer. When I first attended Wive’s Chat I was a hardened broken woman who was in search of...ANYTHING...emotionally bankrupt with a habit of filling voids with anything that would distract me from a pain that refused to go away. I stumbled into Angel, and the rest of the group, unable to raise my head, but have since embarked upon my journey towards the promises of God equipped with more knowledge and strength, but more importantly with a sisterhood that was never afforded to me by biological means. The understanding and forgiveness, fellowship and discipline shown by these women is unmatched, and knowing I can truly call on, and count on each one of them is something I find difficult to describe.

Since joining wives chat, my circle of friends has increased in size and I have a couple of great accountability partners. These partners check up on me, pray for me, and even hang out with me outside of wives chat. Wives chat is a community of sisters who have real life issues in common and come together on a spiritual level! I enjoy all monthly meetings! Bless wives chat and our leader!
